DNFMOMD: CD Release Re-cap

April 3rd at Church of Boston - we released our brand new EP, The New Number 2 (go to music.donotforsake.com for info on how to buy). Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate and a huge thank you to the AMAZING people and bands we shared the stage with.

Corey Tut came up from NYC and started the night up:

Then Vostok 4 rocked us with '80s style post-punk:

Gene Dante and the Future Starlets gave a glizty, glamorous, and most of all glitter-fueled performance - we didn't grab any video of them - but they had their set professionally filmed - so keep an eye out for that!

Finally, Voodoo Screw Machine rocked us into the wee-hours and Satan was on their guestlist! One of my favorite moments of the night was Neil (singer of VSM) singing with a babydoll, ripping the babydoll's head off, singing with the decapitated babydoll and then finally dumping the "blood" of the doll body all over his head. AMAZINGNESS!

EP Release April 3rd at Church & Boston Emissions this Sunday!

Our EPs have arrived in the mail!

We'll be releasing them into the wild on Saturday, April 3rd at Church of Boston  -we couldn't be more honored or more excited for the night of music:

Corey Tut from NYC starts everything up with acoustic-style pop rock.

Then Vostok 4 bring back '80s style post-punk a la Talking Heads. They also share our "no guitar" sensibilites.

We play 3rd (around 10)

Then the ever-entertaining Gene Dante and the Future Starlets will take the stage - you'll be serenaded with glam-infused balladry and be shocked and amazed by downright debauchery - be sure to be holding a cocktail while you watch.

Finally, Voodoo Screw Machine finish out the night with blood, vampires, drama, and theater that will rock you in the goriest way possible!

We'll have some fun surprises (including a rumored ROVER appearance!)
